Magnetic Particle Inspection

Magnetic Particle testing is a technique where by a component is magnetized, and a dry powder or wet suspension is then applied. The surface is then viewed with a black light to evaluate the integrity of the component.

Ultrasonic Thickness Testing

An ultrasonic thickness gauge is used to determine the wall thickness of a component. Components are then evaluated against the manufacturer’s minimum standards.

Visual Testing

A visual inspection is completed by an experienced operator who examines the component both internally and externally to verify that is not eroded or corroded. There is also examination of any pits in the wall of the component and attention to defects caused by improper use and handling.

High pressure components are rebuilt in accordance with manufacturer specifications or the customer’s guidelines.
